Going analog! Trying out Canon FD lenses
Film primes can either be really fun to work with, or really terrible. In some cases they can be moldy, scratched, broken, or just be low quality glass. Sometimes that can bring an interesting quality to the lenses and the images they produce. You can get some cool fringing or flaring, some warps and refraction, or other interesting character when shooting with analog. Combine that with the specifics of the camera body, the film, and the processing, and it really does create a witches brew of possibilities. When you mount these to a digital camera, you can get some of that same character, or it can be a disaster. I wanted to try out some of the lenses that I have and see just how much I could get out of them.
